Fibromyalgia is a pain syndrome with symptoms of muscle, joint and tissue pain at multiple sites, and chronic fatigue. Often this involves:

– sub-acute inflammation of the myofascia, a connective tissue throughout the body.

– the formation of muscular trigger points (TP). These TPs produce pain and refer pain to different locations in the body.

– sleep disturbances

– irritable bowel syndrome

– esophageal reflux and heart burn

– sub-clinical low thyroid function

– weight gain.

These are just the most common symptoms associated with Fibromyalgia Syndrome. There are many others.

Over time these stressors cause neurological dysfunctions. One of the most common and overlooked stressors are food allergies.

These allergies are very stressful to the body. Eating will make you tired instead of giving you energy. Sleeping will leave you tired instead of re-energized.

What does that mean?

Our various organs maintain our body’s daily function, vitality and vigor. With fibromyalgia one or more organs have become weak or downright dysfunctional due to chronic stressors.
